The roots of
Thomas, Knight, Trent, King and Company can be traced back to 1917 when Beverly Ashlin opened an office in Durham, North Carolina to practice accounting. He never dreamed that his one-man
business would grow into the partnership of Thomas, Knight,
Trent and King in 1954 with the objective of
translating professional accounting services into
positive business results for its clients. The partnership found a ready market for its services and as the practice
increased so did its reputation for providing sound
business consulting as well as traditional accounting services.
In 1972, the partnership incorporated and today the firm is one of the state's largest independent accounting firms with offices in central North Carolina. |
