Yarbo is a yard-type robot launched in 2022 by Hanyang Technology (Shenzhen), a major Tuke seller, with functions such as weeding, snow sweeping, and leaf cleaning.
In 2017, Hanyang Technology, which mainly focuses on yard robots and other outdoor tech products, discovered through market research thatthere was still a huge gap in the yard snow sweeping robot sector in the European and American outdoor markets. After R&D, the company successfully launched the home smart snow sweeping robot "Snowbot" in 2021, which quickly exploded in the market upon its release.

Afterwards, Hanyang Technology seized the opportunity and launched the upgraded yard robot "Yarbo" in 2022, making it the company's main Tuke product.
This is how the record of 60,000 orders and hundreds of millions of dollars was achieved.
Because of this, Yarbo has also attracted much attention from investors. At the beginning of this year, it secured nearly $10 million in financing. According to official data, the company's revenue may exceed $100 million in 2024.

However, don't think that Hanyang Technology is just a company focused on product R&D, and that its success as a major Tuke seller is simply due to choosing a good track.
The choice of track certainly has some impact on the final result, but it is not the decisive factor. More importantly, it is Hanyang Technology's strong layout in Tuke independent sites and social media marketing, especially on TikTok.

For a new product, especially a Tuke new product, brand awareness is the key to opening up the market.
Yarbo began posting videos on TikTok as early as its Snowbot days. Although the update frequency was not high, after a certain period, the videos achieved good view counts and brought a large amount of traffic to the independent site linked on the homepage.

In fact, from a broader perspective, the success of Hanyang Technology is not only due to using TikTok and other social media to spread brand awareness, but mainly because it caters to the demand of European and American consumers for smart yard products.
Unlike the mostly apartment-style housing in China, most middle-class families in Europe and America have independent yards due to population factors. Therefore, they pay an average of $1,000–2,000 per year to maintain garden, lawn, and pool facilities.
This has led to a surge in demand for smart yard products such as lawn mowing robots, pool cleaning robots, and snow sweeping robots in Europe and America after the rapid development of mechanical technology in recent years, which in turn has fueled the prosperity of the entire market.
Perhaps that's just how things go.
However, the continuously growing market, while providing Tuke sellers with new development opportunities, also brings new challenges. Sellers need to keep up with market trends, continuously innovate and improve product quality to meet consumer needs and win market share.
